Wedding Hairstyles 2
Here are a few wedding hairstyles with braids
This wedding hairstyles page has some hair bun hairstyles, braid hairstyles, ponytail hairstyles and other simple formal hairstyles. Of course, being a bridal hairstyles page, there are hairstyles with flowers. When doing the hair bun hairstyles I used hair doughnuts for hair padding. There’s a beautiful hairstyle which has a Dutch lace braid circling the head with soft curls on top and flowers to one side, also on top.
One hairstyle which a lot of people seem to like is hairstyle that has an upside down French braid at the back of the head leading up to soft curls and flowers pinned at the top of the head. This can be worn as a bride’s hairstyle or bridesmaid’s hairstyle. Another hairstyle with a braid has a Dutch braid on one side leading to soft curls pinned at the back with a hair brooch on the side without the braid. Yet another braid hairstyle has a twist braid (or rope braid) going back down the centre of the head with exquisite flowers fanning across the top of the head.
Hair buns are elegant – with or without a wedding veil
More bun hair! I love the colourful hair bun with flowers around it. The flowers were pinned in individually around the hair bun. A simple upstyle, but an elegant hairstyle. With a wedding veil it’s a bridal hairstyle. Without a wedding veil it can be worn as a formal hairstyle anywhere. There’s a beautiful young bridesmaid’s hairstyle too. It’s a hair bun encircled by a braid. Then orchids were added to the front and back of the hair bun. This hairstyle would have been a beautiful formal hairstyle without flowers, to be worn for any formal occasion. The flowers made it very much a wedding hairstyle.
A lot of brides want curls
One hairstyle I love here has long hair curled, pulled back and pinned with a black bow at the side. The black bow is on a headband which I simply covered with the hair. Headbands with bows etc can be great accessories - just make sure to cover them up well with hair if you're trying to hide the headband. There’s another hairstyle with the long, thick hair curled and pinned back. This bridal hairstyle was beautiful.
A popular bridesmaid’s hairstyle is a ponytail
A ponytail pulled gently to one side with soft curls is what I’m often asked to do lately. The bridesmaid's hairstyle here has a hair brooch above the ponytail. A short bridesmaid’s hairstyle here is all waves at the front and soft curls at the back, with a hair ornament on one side - simple, but elegant. One mother of the groom had quite short blonde hair. I tonged the hair into soft waves and pinned it back behind her ears, crossing pieces of hair over each other. It looked more creative than a blow wave would have looked – just a different hairstyle for the wedding day.
